Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians:

The month of September has been a busy one with students and staff getting back into the swing of things after the summer.  We will have our school photos taken on September 27th .  We will take some time to reflect on  The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation so as a result, there will be no school on September 30.   The students and staff will celebrate Terry Fox with our Terry Fox walk on September 29.

In October we look forward to another busy month as we celebrate Mi’kmaq History Month, Thanksgiving and Halloween.  As we move further into the autumn season, the changing of leaves brings with it changes in weather.  I would encourage you to make sure students are dressed for the changing weather conditions.

Communication between home and the school is important to help provide your children with the best day possible. Please let the school know when a student is going to be absent. I would encourage you to have open communication with your children’s teachers. If there is an issue or a concern please let them know.

I look forward to seeing the children in the coming days.
